Te NamuTe Namu is written by Ross Calman and it is mostly about sandflies who Captain cook What sandflies being a nuisance to the maor Warriors in Aotearoa.
Did you know that they were found in New Zealand at 1777.Captain cook was the first one to use the word sandflies. My favorite part how they hunt for blood they don't just suck your like a Vampire they suck it so they can lay eggs. This book is a really good you should read it some time.
