This book is about Natalie Grace Ling-hun and she is 11. She goes to a school in Shanghai, China and the school’s name is Ping-He Bilingual school a girl named Sophie asked if natalie wanted to be Sophie’s friend. When she was in Dunedin Natalie and her dad and mum were talking to her dad’s friend and and Natalie dad’s friend said you should go to school in Shanghai China.

My favourite part was when they had to do a hundred press ups and a hundred sit - ups then run the track 30 times who doesn’t like running.

Bok choy

This book is written by Paul Mason and the story is Bok Choy.

It is about a little boy named Jacob and a Chinese man Ah Sum. It is in Otago in a gold mining village in 1865.It is about Ah Sum saving Jacob when he was drowning.Ms Bishop was racist to A sum, Jacob and his mother were very nice to Ah Sum. But Jacob did not like Ah sum.Mrs bishop’s son name is william. He wasn't nice too. He was following his mother being racist. He was saying chinaman and tamping the carpet.

My favourite part is when Ah Sum saves Jacob.

Something that surprised me is when william is racist to A Sum.

Something I have learnt is commas and hard words.

Something interesting is when Jacob nearly drowned.

I think We should bring big wheels little wheels back. Do you agree? Yes or yes

The first reason why I think that big wheels little wheels should come back to school is because  it brings joy to the students. For example,when you see kids on skateboards, scooters or bikes they always have a smile on their face.Would you want to be bored because the park some time is boring.We want to have smiles on our face not a  frown because we are so bored.

Another Reason why I think  we should because we will learn tumaia and when you fall and have a mami will you go and have a cry cry are you going to say by by. No you are no you are going to try again. When you fall off you get back on and try again.It is hard and nervracking the first time you ride a scooter,skateborde or bike. When you go down the ramp feels like you are going down the fearfall. You will have the time of your life when the first time you open scooter,bike or skateboards.

In summary, I think we should be able to bring bikes to school.…

And i think this because bikes are fun and they teach us to be tumaia.

My next steps:

Be independent at using the correct structure for persuasive writing

Learn about and add emotive words to enhance my argument.

Keep adding detail to support my main ideas.
